Hi Guys,
first of all apologies for the long silence! Next, thanks for calling me back to attention as I was really not thinking about it while I obviously badly needed to post an update!
So, what's up and where are all the promised new releases?
I'm afraid we hit another hurdle, we thought we finally managed to find a new reliable 3D printing service (you may have seen pics posted on facebook if you follow us at https://www.facebook.com/1-48Tactic-148-tabletop-miniature-games-328313710859993/ if you don't, do it now! ) but unfortunately as soon as I started cleaning the supports it became apparent that the latest batch of prints are simply terrible... just look at the face details (or lake of!) for poor Ludwig here:
however fear not, because we have now hopefully managed to solve the 3D printing situation (again), this is the latest test for the same figure:
you will notice that it looks significantly deformed (wider) than the 3D model, this is intentional, the prints are always stretched about 10% on the axis perpendicular to the mold separation plane, to compensate for the shrinkage that will occur both in the mold making process and while printing the actual figures. In practice this ensures that the final product will look as it is supposed to! :)
While dealing with this umpteenth annoying set back however we have not wasted times, and I'm happy to report significant progress on many critical fronts! First of all a pdf version of the rules is now ready and it has been approved by wargame vault for distribution. I know many asked for that during the campaign so I'm sure at least someone will be happy about this! As soon as it will be published (hopefully this coming week) I'll send a promotional code for everyone on the campaign so you will be able to download the pdf version for one dollar (I would be happy to let you guys have it for free but there are technical issue with WV that prevent us for distributing it totally free). This is a fundamental tool to help spread the verb of 1-48, with the help of some extraordinary people like Steve in UK (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfZx-rJFZkY) and Svein and Martin in Norway (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M95I5DzaFJc) who are helping creating some amazing battlereport videos (check them out at the links above if you haven't seem them yet!). I know this does not affect you guys much directly, but having a growing base of players is fundamental both to support future development and to help you find opponents to play with! :)
Also the advanced rules for heavy weapons and vehicles is now in proofreading stage, the only thing still missing are the profile cards for several tanks etc. We want to include as many free ones as possible in the rulebook but each one need considerable research and playtesting for all the values, so it's a slow process... however we now have two separate groups testing these independently so work progress steadily and we should soon have enough to go to print. Incidentally if you are interested in getting involved with testing new cards and scenario rules or want support to organize demo games and/or tournaments make sure to get in touch!
As for the last update most if not all 3D models for the first two faction miniatures and the first mission pack are ready and only waiting for the 3D prints to be up to standard, while I now started working on the weapons and gear for the fallschirmjäger and US infantry...
Last but not least, we are working on limited edition specials that will only be available through those brick and mortar shops that organize tournaments and help supporting the game, and as a small thank you for your patience and support you will also get all these that are published at the time your reward ships added to it, free obviously!
That's about it for now, I hope to post a new update real soon with the next batch of figures available, and from now on look forward to a much more stable release flow... fingers crossed. Thank you all again for your amazing support and all the positive feedback you sent us, much appreciated really, it is what keep us going through all the difficulties really! :)

First 2019 update!

Hi guys,
as you may have seen already the 48105 and 48205 new figures are now in production, so everyone who only has these items left will have the remaining part of their reward sent out in the coming days.
The next batch of figures (48106 and 48206) is nearly ready for pre-production and should be also available fairly soon, hopefully in approximately one month.
Several other models are complete and ready, but they are heavy weapons and do require the second rulebook to play. We are now working to get that published ASAP so that we can release those too.
Work proceed well also on the first mission pack and we hope to publish "RACE FOR GASOLINE" even before "ACHTUNG PANZER!" which is the working title for the heavy weapon and vehicles rulebook.
A quick reminder that wave 2 will ship differently depending on what you got in your order, yours will ship as soon as all what you have chosen is available!
That said, for those who have been especially generous in their support we will try to break that in two parts and ship out the first half of wave two (at our expenses of course), as soon as the second rulebook is in print, with everything that will be available at that point, so that they won't have to wait too long to get some more action!

If you have a lot of wave 2 items waiting we will probably break it down further in two separate shipments (extra postage on us) so that you won’t have to wait until absolutely everything is ready to get some new stuff!

Just wanted to share this Work in Progress shot of one of one the new figures!
This is pathfinder Jack Miller, he'll comes with two separate heads to allow choosing assembly with or without helmet and will be armed with a Thompson SMG instead of the M1 shown here...
I don't know about you, but I can't wait to get some on my painting table! 😋
Incidentally nearly all wave one rewards have now shipped, the half a dozen or so that haven't yet are on hold only because they include only wave one items except for the 3D markers which should also be in production shortly, so we will ship these all off together very soon...
